An ordinary theme of wine culture, such as a vine, is subverted in its natural processes, becoming a hallucinatory vision in which the branches seem to come alive and spread through the air, and the grapes transform into liquid spheres suspended around the plant. A terracotta vase placed at the base creates circularity and refers to the regenerative rhythm of nature. A tumultuous and swirling sky dominates the composition and further underlines the cyclical nature of the seasons.

Biography: Mīlĕs – His work is broad and encompasses painting, sculpture, drawing, installations, and murals; these diverse artistic approaches coexist admirably in a continuum of signs, colors, and forms with a strong visual impact. This artist’s visual universe is inhabited by monstrous creatures that are twisted and sinuous, nightmares and scenarios worthy of Dante’s Divine Comedy or Edgar Allan Poe’s prose, where all judgment is suspended and where social and visual rules have been subverted. The artist currently divides his time between Florence and Paris.
